Our Secretary General, Clara Gruitrooy, took an active role in the board meeting of the JARO Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization e.V. During the meeting the board members reflected on the past year’s achievements and challenges, setting the stage for exciting plans for an even more sustainable future. JARO has developed a great range of topics and e-learnings on various aspects of sustainable purchasing, sustainable tourism, and digitalization.
One of the key discussions Clara Gruitrooy was interested in was the profound impact of the Supply Chain Act on international cooperation, the role of buyers associations, and the EMA region as sourcing countries. Furthermore, the lifecycle of hardware and the future of tourism was also addressed
The EMA supports JARO in its endeavors to promote responsible and ethical supply chains, and we eagerly look forward to the synergies we will create together.
