The Regional Forums seek to strengthen cooperation between Germany and the countries of the Mediterranean and Middle East region by focusing on trendsetting issues, specific sectors or regions. With their focus on individual topics and industries such as digital economy, logistics, environment, water, promotion of women in the economy or regions such as the Maghreb or the Mashrek and the Gulf, they specifically address the needs of the region and outline paths for cooperation and development.
Well-known representatives from the countries of the Mediterranean and Middle East region and from Germany explain the economic, political and legal framework conditions of the respective locations. Actors who already work locally report on their experiences and in this context present their current projects in the region. Interested parties should also be given the opportunity to present themselves to potential partners and to consult and exchange ideas with decision-makers from business and politics in the EMA region.
