The EMA (Euro-Mediterranean-Arab Association e.V.) is a business association representing the German private sector with a broad range of services promoting sustainable economic cooperation with Arab countries. For our office in Berlin, we are seeking from July 2025:

Junior Project Manager (f/m/d)

As Junior Project Manager, you will support the implementation of the German-Arab mentoring project “Ouissal” 2025–2026 as well as other EMA services.

The Ouissal project connects female entrepreneurs from countries in the EMA region to promote innovative and sustainable activities in their home countries and to create jobs and new perspectives. EMA services include delegation trips, forums, seminars, and support for its members in initiating and carrying out business activities in the EMA region. You will gain insights into various areas and experience working within an international network with a social mission.

EMA offers a centrally located workplace in Berlin, a welcoming and collegial atmosphere in an international team, diverse and varied fields of activity, and opportunities to contribute your own ideas. The advertised position is suitable for both part-time and full-time.

Your main responsibilities:

In the Ouissal project:

  • Support in organizing, executing, and following up on project activities (e.g. delegation trips, kick-off events, online seminars)
  • Support for project participants and stakeholders
  • Research, evaluation, and monitoring of project progress

In general project work:

  • Assistance in planning and implementing EMA events and projects
  • Communication with partners and members
  • Maintaining the database, preparing presentations, texts, and minutes
  • Preparing texts for public relations (newsletter, website, social media)

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree or equivalent qualification in economics, social sciences, event management, or a related field
  • Initial experience in project work, event organization, and/or public relations is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent working style
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, intercultural sensitivity
  • Very good command of German and English (written and spoken), French is an asset
  • Confident use of standard office software and online management tools
