In the discussion moderated by EMA Secretary General Clara Gruitrooy, the EU expert on humanitarian assistance in the MENA region provided information on the process and challenges of organizing emergency humanitarian assistance, the relevance of gender equity in emergency response, and appealed to the international community to enable reconstruction in the region.
For all the goals to be achieved, a systematic and structural approach is needed, in which EMA and its partners can play an important role.
