For EMA’s commitment and dedication to international cooperation and fostering ties between the #EU and the #Mediterranean region, the EMA President Heike Fölster and Secretary General Clara Gruitrooy were invited to attend the festive German Unity Day Ceremony.
Under the motto ‘Opening Horizons,’ this year’s ceremony unfolded in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. It was inaugurated by Dr. Peter Tschentscher, President of the Bundesrat, and the First Mayor of Hamburg. #Hamburg holds a special place in our history, as it is the EMA’s founding city and our connections with this beautiful city remain steadfast.
During this remarkable gathering, Mrs. Fölster and Mrs. Gruitrooy had the pleasure of engaging with esteemed dignitaries, including .. the #Algerian Ambassador, .. , the #Egyptian Ambassador, and H.E. Maitha Al Mahrouqi, the #Omani Ambassador, among other distinguished guests.
As we celebrate German Unity Day, we’re reminded of the importance of #unity and #cooperation. These are principles that the EMA is committed to upholding as we work tirelessly to strengthen ties between #Germany, #Europe, #NorthAfrica and the #MiddleEast.
