In recent months, Egypt has attracted international attention with two major infrastructure projects: the construction of the second Suez Canal and the establishment of a new capital outside Cairo. These and other plans hold great opportunities for investment in a wide range of industries – from logistics and urban development to agriculture, energy, tourism and IT technologies. With the economic upturn returning to the Arab world’s most populous country, Egyptian and foreign companies alike are optimistic about the future on the Nile.
