The EMA turned the page to an exciting new chapter during our Members Assembly and Board Election that took place on the 10th of December 2024 in Hamburg hosted by EMA member CLAYSTON.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Thomas Wülfing as the new President and Yazid Dr. Shammout as Vice President of the EMA, alongside new board members Prof. Dr. Juliane Brach, Tobias Lamprecht, Marcel Graff, Dr. Kirsten Soyke, and Wajdi D. Their leadership brings fresh energy and commitment to EMA’s mission. The EMA extends its gratitude to Dr. Stephan Jäger, Heike Fölster, Detlev Woesten, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Hartwig and Ida B., who continue to serve on the board, providing continuity and valuable expertise. Our heartfelt thanks go to the former board members for their invaluable involvement and service, and we wish the new board every success in driving EMA’s vision forward.
After seven remarkable years as Secretary General, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Clara Gruitrooy, whose unwavering dedication and leadership have carried EMA to incredible heights. Clara has been the heart and soul of this organization, and we are deeply grateful for all she has achieved. Stepping into this pivotal role is none other than Dr. Abdelmajid Layadi, who returns as Secretary General. We’re excited to embark on this new chapter under his leadership.
With big plans for 2025, including impactful events, projects, and business delegations, we’re ready to continue building bridges and achieving our shared goals. Here’s to the future of EMA!
