Business delegation trip to Syria led by State Secretary Dr. Oliver Liersch
The State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Transport of Lower Saxony, Dr. Oliver Liersch, led a business delegation to Syria from 18.02 to 22.02.2011. The destination of the trip was the Syrian capital Damascus as well as Aleppo. The program included B2B meetings, talks with Syrian officials and businessmen, company visits, political talks, contacts with the German Embassy in Damascus and the local Chamber of Commerce. The delegation trip was organized by Niedersachsen Global GmbH (NGlobal) together with EMA e.V. and IHK Hannover on behalf of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economy, Labor and Transport.
