Eva Flory’s topics at the EMA are mentoring and adult education / lifelong learning. She is an officer for mentoring programs. Her focus is the cross-culture mentoring program “Ouissal“. She is convinced of mentoring from her own experience, because here are multi-layered forms of learning, professional/personal development, exchange at eye level, empowerment and emergence of something new. Ouissal excites her because it is intercultural and cross-company (no formal hierarchy in the tandems) and because it pursues the overarching goals of feminist foreign/development policy, socio-ecological transformation empowerment and diversity.

Studies: Master’s degree in Adult Education/Lifelong Learning (Humboldt University of Berlin) with scholarship from the foundation Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, Master’s thesis on the competence of mentors, Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and Italian Philology (University of Potsdam).
