Water Technology and Aviation Industry in Hamburg

In cooperation with the Economic Committee of the Hamburg Parliament, the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg, HAMBURGWASSER, Airbus and HySolutions, EMA put together an interesting program for the diplomatic representatives of the Arab states in Germany. The opening ceremony was held in the City Hall of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

Due to the high population growth, large investments in the field of water and wastewater supply but also in other future-oriented technologies (aviation, propulsion systems, etc.) will be made in the coming decades in the states of the Middle East and North Africa. The aim of these investments will be to operate plants more efficiently, to ensure a high standard of living and to supply the population safely. Only those who are up to date with the latest developments and open to innovative technologies and forward-looking projects will be able to cope successfully with this task and make economic decisions.

For this reason, EMA put together a program for the diplomatic missions of the Arab countries, which gave them an insight into the latest developments. The event was the prelude to a wide-ranging discussion on the subject of water, which will culminate in the EMA Water Forum planned for March 2010.
