The 1st Diplomatic Meeting of the EMA Region in Bavaria
On January 25, 2011, the EMA invited to the Bavarian Parliament to an information event about the EMA, which was followed by numerous interested personalities.

Discussion and suggestions of the visitors
After introductory greetings by Prof. Ursula Männle (Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bavaria) and Jürgen Papadopoulos (Managing Director of the EMA in Bavaria), in which the relationship of Bavaria to the EMA region was addressed and the hope for an increased commitment of the EMA in the south of Germany, two more interesting presentations followed.
Alexander Hoeckle from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria gave an entertaining, informative presentation on the activities of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria in the EMA region and also addressed the MENA Forum, which is also planned in cooperation with the EMA on 07 June.
Georg Reichl from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology then reported in detail on the foreign trade activities of the Free State of Bavaria in the EMA region. In addition to statistics on relations with countries in the EMA region, Mr. Reichl spoke about delegation trips and business trips to the region.
Dr. Abdelmajid Layadi spoke for the EMA about the possibilities of networking of the German economy in Bavaria with the countries of the EMA region and about the assistance that the EMA can provide.
The event ended in the Bavarian Parliament, the Maximilianeum, with interested questions and reports on the experiences of some entrepreneurs.
