Led by the member of the German parliament, . , every participant got a full 5 days special program in Tunis and Hammamet. Mainly, the EMA organized a conference with the participation of around 80 IT specialists, engineers, innovators, and business representatives from Tunisia. The conference included three parallel technical workshops on the new supply chain law, women as a key human resource in IT & Engineering, and Digital Transformation & Innovation in Tunisia. Our secretary general, Clara Gruitrooy summarised: “Together with our partners, we have created an excellent networking platform for furthering not only Tunisian cooperation, but to focus on GOOD cooperation!”
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to the German Ambassador to Tunisia, Mr. Peter Prügel, who held a special reception in honor of the delegation in his residency, with the presence of the Former Finance Minister of Tunisia, Mr. Nizar Yaiche and the EMA network in Tunisia. At the reception, both Ambassador Prügel and Dr. Diaby highlighted the long-lasting partnership between both countries and the outlook for a more fruitful win-win relationship.
Lastly, the delegates participated in the Forum International des DSI which lasted three days and allowed the delegation to get informed on the latest IT trends on the African continent and in Tunisia. It further provided the floor to many B2B and networking opportunities.
