What a Ouissal kick-off in Africa’s second-largest economy: Egypt!
Approximately 30 high-performing participants from Germany, Egypt, and Palestine came together for an intensive exchange of expertise in diverse companies ranging from education to software to textiles displaying the vast pool of talent that the third-most industrialized country of Africa has to offer. During the Ouissal workshops, the highly dynamic startup ecosystem and the energy of women entrepreneurs in Egypt were tangible for the German delegation.
We express our sincere appreciation to all partners and female leaders involved, selected by Clara Gruitrooy, the driving force behind Ouissal, who led the workshops together with Daniela Greiffendorf. Their invaluable guidance in teamwork, communication, leadership tools, and mentoring strategies has been instrumental in our journey.
Lastly, heartfelt appreciation to the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Agentur für Wirtschaft und Entwicklung for their invaluable support! Special thanks go to Tobias Krause and Alexis von Below at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Egypt for graciously hosting a networking reception to connect our business delegation with valuable partners on the ground, such as German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Egypt), Federation of Egyptian Industries, Mediterranean Youth Foundation – MYF, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Egypt, Cotton Research Institute.
