The 7th German-Arab Women’s Forum

Organized by

As the 2025/26 cohort of the German-Arab mentoring programme OUISSAL comes to an end, mentors and mentees from across the programme will come together in Berlin from 4 to 7 October 2026 to celebrate the closing of this programme year.

The Forum brings together women entrepreneurs and leaders from different sectors from all ten participating countries: Germany, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.

Over four days, participants will take part in workshops, sightseeing activities and networking events, creating space to reflect on their experiences, share what they have learned and strengthen the connections they have built throughout the programme. The Forum is also an opportunity to bring the wider OUISSAL community together and celebrate the relationships and achievements of the current cohort.

OUISSAL at the 3rd Gleichstellungstag

On 6 October, OUISSAL will also be part of the 3rd Gleichstellungstag in Berlin. You can meet us during the session “Die Bundesstiftung Gleichstellung im Gespräch”, taking place on the Weitblick-Bühne on Level B of the Berlin Congress Center, from 13:00 to approximately 13:55.

The session will offer an opportunity to learn more about OUISSAL and hear directly from members of the programme about their experiences with cross-cultural mentoring and exchange.

Following the session, invited guests will have the opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with OUISSAL mentors and mentees at the OUISSAL Networking Reception. The reception is organised by EMA e.V. (Euro-Mediterranean-Arab Association) in cooperation with the Agency for Business and Economic Development (AWE), Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte (FidAR e.V.), and the Federal Foundation for Gender Equality (Bundesstiftung Gleichstellung).
