German Business Delegation – Day 2 in Morocco, Rabat

Casablanca was only the first stop for our German business delegation. Day 2 and 3 saw visits to the capital city of Rabat and the Atlantic-Mediterranean logistics hub of Tangier.

In Rabat, the delegation was welcomed, among others, by Mohcine BENJELLOUN, Director of the Regional Investment Center, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Regragui, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at Mohammed V University, as well as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCIS Rabat) to discuss business opportunities and meet companies for B2B talks. The delegation also went to visit some of the ongoing infrastructure projects in Rabat.

Chief among these was a first-hand inspection of the new Complexe Sportif Moulay Abdellah, which is underway to become a reference sports site for the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup. The stadium is a modern testament to Morocco’s aspirations with extensive WiFi coverage to all 68,500 seats and smart access management as well as VIP space, restaurants, cafés, first aid facilities, gym rooms, and a state-of-the-art security system.
