The motto ‘roundtable talks’ originates from a speech given by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales on the occasion of the British Industry Fair in 1927.
“The young business and professional men of this country must get together round the table, adopt methods that have proved so sound in the past, adapt them to the changing needs of the times and wherever possible, improve them”.
With its ‘roundtable events’ EMA hopes to embrace the spirit of this quotation, and aims to provide a forum where businessmen and decision-makers from Germany and the EMA region can get together in a pleasant atmosphere to develop ideas and to forward common projects.
To increase efficiency, the ‘roundtable events’ are always held with a small number of participants and emphasis given to specific themes. This provides our guests with the right atmosphere to develop new contacts with prospective clients as well as the opportunity to intensify existing ones.
Hence the ‘roundtable talks’ play an important role within the ‘EMA Events’ program, which is aimed at increasing economic relations between Germany and the EMA countries.
